Anyone have trouble with snacking after 7:30 at night. I keep saying I'm not going to, but I always seem to break down.

I have a little trick that I used in the past. I would brush my teeth after dinner instead of before bed. This helped me not eat anything the rest of the night.
Have not used this much lately.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. I need something.
Anyone else?

I agree with Jen. It works for me also!
What are you doing after 7:30? TV, Reading, Computer?
What time do you go to bed? _________________ Rocketlady |

I keep my water bottle with me to keep from snacking. I live alone so it's easy for me to do this, but the top shelf of my fridge is almost entirely nothing but water bottles. I usually put a capful of lemon juice for every 16oz of water in them. 0 cal flavor boost. It's hard to do with my schedule sometimes but I am in bed between 9 and 10 most nights so I try not to eat past 7 or 8. The water bottles get refilled before bed every night and my Brita pitcher gets reloaded. I can grab a cold bottle first thing in the morning too after I weigh in.
I buy reusable bottles so that I don't have to worry with waste issues. In fact, I have had these so long that I am getting ready to start replacing them with stainless steel. _________________ SW- 200

OK. This sounds a little dumb to some people. But, it do a little "mind of matter" trick. Sometimes after dinner I talk to myself and say "NO MORE food today". I also wave my arms (like an umpire calling someone safe). Sometimes I look in the mirror when I do it.
And that's it. It works. I don't do it every night. Usually, when I have a weigh in the next day or I've been really bad that day.
Don't laugh too hard....

I'm a baseball person- so the umpire thing makes absolute sense to me. At the end of my printed menus- I have a checkered flag- like for the end of the race in motor sports. Cheesy I know.
But I have a sign clipped to my fridge that says "Are you REALLY hungry?" _________________ SW- 200

This is especially hard when your significant other is a snacker. He is very supportive, but works later and snacks later...no reason still, and I like the checkered flag...over, finished, DONE!! Good one! _________________ Be good to you, you are the only one that counts...A |
